BMFA 10/30/19: Faculty Promotions Workshop
The Promotions Workshop sponsored by BioMed Faculty Administration is a workshop designed for faculty in Clinical departments at the Warren Alpert Medical School. At the conclusion of this workshop, faculty should be able to identify criteria associated with specific faculty tracks, apply the knowledge of criteria to their professional goals and responsibilities and navigate the promotion process at Brown.
Target Audience
All clinical department faculty interested in increasing their knowledge of promotion criteria and promotion practice including revisions and how they will affect promotions in the clinical departments.
Learning Objectives
This workshop is designed for faculty in the clinical departments at Brown University. Participants will be able to discuss the faculty appointment and promotion process at the University along with the track switching process. Panelists and workshop leaders will include senior faculty with considerable experience with the promotions process.
