Program Description
The Northeast Arthroplasty Conference is an educational, interactive conference that discusses new and exciting arthroplasty topics with leaders in the field such as outpatient total joints, revision anterior total hip arthroplasty, and the future of robotics in total joint arthroplasty.
Target Audience
This conference is designed for arthroplasty surgeons, as well as orthopedic physicians, advanced practice providers, fellows, residents, medical students, and trainees.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this conference, the learner should be better able to:
- State indications for one-stage versus two-stage exchange arthroplasty for periprosthetic infection
- Describe the indications and technique for bikini incision anterior hip replacement
- Outline the indications for outpatient total joint arthroplasty
CALL FOR RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
Deadline for submission is March 1st, 2024 at 11:59PM
We are asking for abstract submissions on research related to total hip and knee arthroplasty. The abstracts will be graded and the top 3 submissions will be asked to give an 8-minute presentation about their research at the conference and provided with a monetary award.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING
- The abstract limit is 300 words not including title, authors and disclosures
- The abstract format requires a Title with contributing authors listed along with disclosures, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion sections
- Please include all authors and disclosure of conflict of interest
- All abstract submissions should be submitted to NortheastArthroplasty@gmail.
com

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing to the Brown CME Office at least two weeks before the conference, no later than March 8, 2024. A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged for all refunds (no refunds for “no-shows”). There will be no additional charge for substitutions. This conference is subject to change or cancellation. Brown CME reserves the right to change the delivery format, delay, or cancel a course due to any unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled, your registration fee will be refunded.
