In addition to Covid-19 updates, this session will provide participants with an overview of liver disease causes, effects, and treatments, and inform them about new nomenclature being used for Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Additionally, there will be a presentation on chronic pain management, and an update on vaccinations in RI.

Learning Objectives

- Define Steatotic Liver Disease
- Differentiate between nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)
- Describe diagnosis, management, and treatment options for NAFLD
