Please join the Department of Emergency Medicine in this January 2024 Grand Rounds Session taking place Wednesday, January 10th from 12:00 pm– 1:00 pm via Zoom or at the Claverick Building, 1st Floor Conference Room.

After this session, the participants should be better able to:

  1. Explain how the medical malpractice litigation system is harmful to patients, physicians, and the physician-patient relationship.
  2. Describe factors that contribute to patients initiating a medical malpractice lawsuit.
  3. Describe evidence-based steps that physicians can take to minimize liability from medical malpractice.
