Target Audience

This session is designed for Rhode Island physicians (primary care and specialists), psychologists, social workers, residents, fellows, medical students, and all other allied health professionals. 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify at least three ways behavioral health consultation can be integrated into the MTSS framework to support students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Apply consultation strategies that enhance collaboration between mental health professionals, educators, and behavior coaches within school settings.
  • Analyze how integrating behavioral health consultation into MTSS can strengthen a school’s overall system of support and reduce reliance on crisis interventions.
