11/12/26 - Prompt & Circumstance: Using Your AI Allies for Efficiency & Productivity (VIRTUAL)
Thursday, November 12, 2026
5:30-6:30pm
VIRTUAL ONLY - Registration is required to access the Zoom link.
Overview
AI tools and platforms are being extensively used by our learners, our patients, and our colleagues. While there is valid debate on the opportunities and threats posed by AI in academic work, it is undeniable that AI skills are now essential for educators and leaders in health care education, as is the ability to critically reflect on AI outputs and ethical use. This workshop will lead participants through effective prompt engineering, workflow chaining with a variety of free and available AI platforms, a practice of meaningful critique and reflection on outputs and participants will leave with drafts of materials that they can refine for use in their educational practice.
This one hour interactive workshop will serve as a guide and a virtual immersive “AI wet-lab”. Please have your laptop or a smartphone available for using free AI platforms to discover and practice using AI tools to create high quality relevant and ethical materials for professional development and work as an educator.
Target Audience
This session is open to all faculty, staff and trainees.
