This session will provide education on the multidisciplinary aspects of sickle cell disease, including the importance of anti-racist approaches to patient care. 

Target Audience

Physicians, Psychologists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses specializing in Primary Care and Pediatrics. 

Learning Objectives

After participating in this session, the learner should be better able to: 

  1. State the complexities of pediatric sickle cell disease. 
  2. Advocate for equitable care of individuals with sickle cell disease.
