COR November 5th: Clinical Update in HIV & STD prevention
The presentation will focus on the current clinical care and diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in Rhode Island. The current epidemiology will be discussed including populations who are most at-risk.
Target Audience
Physicians, Psychologists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses specializing in Primary Care and Pediatrics.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, attendees should be able to:
1. Discuss the epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
2. Describe current diagnostic approaches for STIs.
3. Identify current STI treatment recommendations
