Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the risks and benefits of genetic testing for Alzheimer’s risks for patients who are considering such testing
  2. Identify strategies for counseling patients who are considering but have not yet decided to undergo testing for Alzheimer’s risk
  3. Identify evidence-based therapeutic options for counseling families who have received results of testing for Alzheimer’s risk.
