Target Audience
This activity is designated for physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and social workers.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe the unique challenges faced by transitional age youth with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Identify one’s own gaps in knowledge related to treating transitional age youth with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Describe educational and vocational needs that transitional age youth with autism and developmental disabilities may have and List resources available locally to help meet the varied needs of transitional age youth with autism and developmental disabilities.
