COR 11.10.20: Pediatric Perspective of a Pandemic

There are ongoing exacerbations of health disparities, immunization delays, and newly described pediatric presentations of SARS-CoV-2. This session will promote awareness of the current Issues facing children and pediatric providers during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Target Audience

Physicians, Psychologists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses specializing in Primary Care and Pediatrics. 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, attendees should be better able to:

1. Describe the epidemiology, pathophysiology, and varied clinical presentations of COVID-19 in children.
2. Identify economic, social and behavioral challenges of COVID-19 specific to children.
3. Recognize the economic impact of SARS-CoV-2 on pediatric providers.
