Target Audience
This course is designed for primary care physicians practicing in the state of RI interested in improving their communication with and management of patients suffering chonic pain.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this course, the learner should be better able to:
- Review best practices for prescribing for chronic pain
- Discuss framework for chronic pain conversation with clients
- Explore creating pain management teams within office and connections to outside providers
- Improve provider comfort in collaborative treatment planning with pain patients
