This session will provide an overview of current tobacco trends in Washington County and across Rhode Island including e-cigarettes. In addition, the presenter will look at the impact of COVID-19 and nicotine use and explore actionable next steps about prevention and intervention programs to work toward eliminating the impact of nicotine addiction in Rhode Island.
Target Audience
Physicians, Psychologists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses specializing in Primary Care and Pediatrics.

At the conclusion of this session, attendees should be better able to:
1. Analyze trends of youth e-cigarette use
2. State the components of e-cigarettes
3. Access all RI cessation resources
4. Engage in conversations with patients, peers, and family about e-cigarette use and quit resources.
