In addition to Covid-19 updates, this session will provide participants with a comprehensive lecture-style presentation about how to identify Rhode Island-specific vectors, which are the most common, and how they manifest clinically.

Target Audience

This educational initiative is designed for all licensed healthcare professionals practicing medicine in the state of Rhode Island.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this educational initiative, learners should be better able to:

  • Identify the different tick vectors in Rhode Island
  • Name the most common tick-borne diseases in Rhode Island, their epidemiology and clinical manifestations
  • Name the most common mosquito borne diseases in Rhode Island, their epidemiology and clinical manifestations
