Target Audience
This session is designed for Rhode Island physicians (primary care and specialists), psychologists, social workers, residents, fellows, medical students, and all other allied health professionals. 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
a. Process how the topics of engagement and empathy are interrelated.
 b. Focus on five ways in which improving engagement benefit both patient and treatment team.
 c. Discuss how these interventions/approaches can not only assist clinically but also can manifest
      positively in the Era of the Open Note
