Session Overview

This lecture discusses the role of past trauma as a predictor of parent mental health and sleep disruption, and in turn how that may predict sleep health in infants in the early post-partum.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this activity, attendees should be better able to:

  • Screen patients/clients for prior trauma and depressive symptoms
  • Assess household chaos/disorganization from direct observation in the home
  • Understand how parent and infant sleep can be passively assessed using actigraphy
