Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
  1. Describe three challenges faced by modern-day psychiatry that can be understood in a classic control systems framework
  2. Compare “Big” (i.e. large-N) and “wide” (i.e. N-of-1 or single-case) approaches to studying neuropsychiatric disorders
  3. List two challenges or potential pitfalls of deep phenotyping approaches as applied to neuropsychiatric disorders
