The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and The Rhode Island Department of Health, In Collaboration with Brown University AIDS Program

Invited Speaker:
Alexander Hamm, MS

In addition to COVID-19 updates, this session will provide clinicians with information on types of radiation (non ionizing vs. ionizing), dose, and biological effects. Providers of all specialties see patients who undergo radiological exams or therapy and it is helpful for providers to be up to date on radiological health so as to best inform and direct their patients, as well as correct potential misconceptions about radiation.
