At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:

  • Review the nature of the association between substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring depression (COD)

  • Address challenges in recruitment, engagement, and assessment of youth with COD

  • Discuss treatment response and outcomes heterogeneity in youth with COD.
