In addition to Covid-19 updates, this session will provide participants with an overview of ADHD signs and symptoms in children and adolescents, how to recognize them, and how to appropriately treat them with prescription stimulants, while recognizing and mitigating potential side effects.

Target Audience

This educational initiative is designed for all licensed healthcare professionals practicing medicine in the state of Rhode Island.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this educational initiative, learners should be better able to:

  • Recognize signs and symptoms of ADHD in children and adolescents
  • Determine the most appropriate prescription stimulants for AHDH treatment
  • Identify racial disparities in ADHD diagnosis and treatment
