Providence, RI US
December 18, 2025
Overview

Given that the top 5 chronic diseases we know are preventable and often manageable through lifestyle choices, why is more time not spent on prevention in medical education/training? Are you interested in better understanding the connection of your food choices to your own health and the sustainability of the planet? This talk will introduce Lifestyle Medicine as an evidence-based field of study that addresses chronic disease management through lifestyle choices. Barriers to behavior change as well as health equity will be addressed in terms of implementation of lifestyle changes.
