Join the Department of Emergency Medicine for a talk showcasing an academic career focused on translational research. In addition to a case outlining how gut microbiology affects other disease processes that are encountered often in the emergency practice, the session will describe how a practitioner's research mission and day-to-day care impact the patient and practitioner experience as rendered in the emergency department.
