6/23/20: Medicine, Title IX and Creating an Inclusive Learning Environment
Diversity and inclusion initiatives and Brown University aim to sustain and advance an inclusive community of scholars on campus and throughout the community. Towards this end, Brown University’s policy on Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment, Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation, Relationship and Interpersonal Violence and Stalking Policy makes it the responsibility of all members of the Brown University community to foster an environment free from prohibited conduct.
The virtual workshop will be designed to engage participants with the material through scenarios. Presenters will demonstrate skills for addressing difficult situations (i.e., responding to disclosure of harassment, acting as a bystander when witnessing bias), and apply the Brown University policy to real-world situations in academic medical settings.
Target Audience
All faculty and residents are welcome to attend this live webinar.
