LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Describe how adversities involving threat differ from those involving deprivation\
- Differentiate between the cognitive, affective, and neural consequences of exposure to threat versus deprivation-related forms of childhood adversity
- Identify cognitive, affective, and neural mechanisms through which adversities involving threat exposure increase risk for later psychopathology.
