Exhibit Site for Advances in Right Heart Biology
Live In-Person CME-Accredited Conference
with Exhibitors on Saturday, October 19th 2024
Program Description
The Right Heart Biology Conference is an educational, interactive conference that discuses pulmonary hypertension that affects about 1% of the world population and is frequently associated with cardiopulmonary and metabolic diseases. Right heart dysfunction dictates the poor outcomes associated with pulmonary hypertension. Yet, there are no specific therapies targeted towards the failing right heart. This educational activity brings together physicians and scientists from varied disciplines actively pursuing research to understand the molecular, cellular and biomechanical mechanisms underlying right heart dysfunction, and novel translational and therapeutic strategies to begin to address this unmet need.
Target Audience
This conference is designed for cardiology physicians, scientists and advanced pulmonary & critical care practice providers, fellows, residents, medical students, and trainees.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this conference, the learner should be better able to:
- Identify maladaptive right heart remodeling
- Characterize mechanisms involved in right heart mechanical and electrical dysfunction
- Describe novel therapeutic strategies to improve right heart function
- Describe therapeutic spectrum of potential therapies for right heart dysfunction
