Curious about the impact of sleep and circadian rhythms on perinatal depression? Would you like to learn more about current studies and resources available to support pregnant and parenting people? Look no further. This presentation will review the basics of sleep and circadian rhythms, discuss how to support family visiting participants around sleep and circadian rhythms and describe strategies/tools available to promote healthy sleep for expectant and new parents and their children. The training will include strategies you can use during visits and free resources families can access!
This opportunity is open to all Family Visitors.
Please come to the training thinking about any specific examples of families/ cases you would like to share.
Target Audience
This educational initiative is designed for nurses, social workers, primary care and OB/GYN physicians, psychologists, and family visitors in Rhode Island.
