Recent Advances In The Field of Surgery and Their Practical Applications to Bedside Care
Brown Surgical Associates Present A Festschrift for William G. Cioffi, Jr., MD
For the past 30 years, William G. Cioffi, Jr., MD, has played a pivotal role in training hundreds of surgical residents, many of whom have become leaders, innovators, top researchers, and expert clinicians in their fields. This academic "homecoming" will provide an opportunity for them to share their vision and achievements in cardiac transplantation, surgical oncology, tissue engineering, vascular surgery, trauma care, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and patient-centered care.
Recent Advances In The Field of Surgery and Their Practical Applications to Bedside Care
Recent advances in vascular surgery, oncological surgery, tissue engineering, transplantation, and minimally invasive surgery have yet to be widely implemented in bedside care. In the rapidly evolving field of surgery, with increasing specialization and subspecialization, a strong understanding of the latest developments in evidence-based medicine is crucial for optimal clinical practice. This activity will help surgical practitioners, surgeons-in-training, advanced practice providers, and medical students gain knowledge of the most recent advancements in the field of surgery.
Funding provided by The Henry Thomas Randall, MD Professorship in Surgical Sciences
