Rhode Island School Nurse Conference
The Rhode Island Department of Health partners with school and child care nurses and other school health professionals to coordinate a statewide school health program designed to reduce mortality and morbidity from major chronic and/or infectious diseases and injury. The Conference increases knowledge in school nursing practice and school health programming related to health prevention and promotion and chronic and/or infectious disease. The Conference allows attendees to participate in a public health team approach to address the social and environmental determinants of health, eliminate health disparities, and assure access to quality health services in schools and in the community.
