Learning Objectives
- Define trauma and trauma-informed care, recognize the potential impact trauma has on an individual’s health and identify the benefits of a trauma-informed care approach to patient encounters
- Demonstrate ways to teach and incorporate trauma-informed care into the medical interview and physical exam
