Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Understand the surgical anatomy & approaches to the operative spine from occiput to the pelvis
• Describe indications for surgical stabilization and instrumentation in patients with trauma, deformity, tumor and degenerative diseases of the spine
• Compare and contrast minimally invasive and traditional open approaches to spine surgery
• Outline the diversity of surgical treatment of spinal disorders and promote evidence-based strategies towards understanding of how surgical intervention effects pain and functional outcomes in spine patients

Merge onto I-95 N, take exit 23 for RI-146 toward US-44 Woonsocket/State Offices. Continue on RI-146 N, then take I-295 N exit toward RI-99 N, keep left at the fork and continue onto RI-99 N. Continue to Highland Corporate Dr., the destination will be on the left. 

Coming from Boston, MA (Southbound)
Merge onto I-93 S, take exit 1A toward I-95 S, then take exit 4 for I-295 S . Take exit 18B for RI-146 N toward US-44 Woonsocket. Make a slight right toward RI-99 N and continue onto RI-99 N. Continue to Highland Corporate Dr., the destination will be on the left.
