Target Audience
This session is designed for Rhode Island physicians (primary care and specialists), psychologists, social workers, residents, fellows, medical students, and all other allied health professionals. 
 
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be better able to:
  • 1. Differentiate between primary psychotic disorders and other developmental or trauma-relate
  •     presentations in children and adolescents.
  • 2. Identify racial and systemic disparities in the diagnosis and treatment of early psychosis
  •      among youth and discuss strategies to promote equity in care delivery.
  • 3. Evaluate recent evidence on the relationship between cannabis use and psychosis in
  •     youth, and outline implications for prevention and public health intervention.
