Overview
This year’s series of the DPHB 50th Anniversary Alumni Grand Rounds will honor the long-standing legacy of the Department’s Psychology Internship and Psychiatry Residency Training Programs. This educational series responds to the critical need for continuous updates on emerging research. The series is designed to present practical examples of current findings and emphasize their direct application in clinical practice. It further highlights evidence-based best practices and strategies that enable providers to incorporate new knowledge effectively into their professional work, thereby advancing goals for improved patient care.
Target Audience
This grand rounds series is designed for Rhode Island physicians (primary care and specialists), psychologists, social workers, residents, fellows, and medical students.
Learning Objectives
After participating in a Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior Academic Grand Rounds Series, the learner should be better able to:
- Apply new modalities and indications regarding the latest assessments of treatments
- Analyze new modalities and indications regarding the latest assessments of research
- Implement new modalities and indications regarding the latest assessments of testing
