  • Describe factors related to elevated prevalence of borderline personality disorder, and related psychopathology, among sexual and gender minority populations.
  • Identify how the traditional conceptualizations of personality and other psychopathology exclude understanding of social and structural processes to sexual and gender minority individuals' detriment.
  • Discuss how understanding of sociocultural context can be harnessed to create rigorous research designs.
