Overview

If Beyonce was still touring with Destiny’s Child the last time you studied the intricacies of breast cancer, this course is for you! Our distinguished panel will provide state-of-the-art breast cancer updates from bench to bedside.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians and members of the allied healthcare team. 

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, learners should be better able to: 

  1. Describe the latest research using quantitative cell biophysical analysis to understand breast cancer biology.
  2. Discuss current standards of care for breast imaging if an abnormality is detected through screening and in special cases (e.g., lactation, implants).
  3. Compare and contrast appropriate indications for medical and/or surgical approaches to treating breast cancer.
