Please join the Department of Emergency Medicine as we welcome Dr. Patrick McGann for a Grand Rounds presentation on Management of Sickle Cell Disease in the Emergency Department: Clinical Considerations With a Focus on Equity.
This GR lecture fulfills a need for emergency medicine providers (faculty, residents, APPs) to understand how to manage acute presentations of sickle cell disease (SCD). The speaker is an international expert is the field of SCD, with a specific research interest on how structural, institutional, and interpersonal racism impact the care of patients with SCD.
