Overview

Working parenthood can be overwhelming, frustrating, and riddled with guilt. It can also be a source of joy, inspiration, and creativity. Using ideas from the science of work and family, creativity, rest, stress, and positive psychology, we’ll explore various strategies that individuals with multiple demanding roles can use to grow the good while better managing inevitable challenges.

 

Target Audience

This session is open to all faculty, staff and trainees. 

Learning Objectives

After participating in this event, learners should be better able to: 

1. Define work-family enrichment.

2. Identify cognitive practices that help to foster work-family enrichment.

3. Identify behavioral practices that help foster work-family enrichment.
