Overview
Engage in dynamic discussions and gain fresh perspectives on themes of resilience, cultural identity, and the search for home. In her memoir, Dr. Ruth J. Simmons, the author of "Up Home," brings a unique perspective to the narrative, having herself journeyed from a humble upbringing in the rural South to becoming the first Black president of Brown University.
