A Hybrid Event ~ This Annual Conference is being held live, in-person, and on Zoom.
The 21st Annual OWIMS Conference will provide an opportunity for attendees to reflect on and strengthen key aspects of their professional lives. Sessions will focus on aligning career choices with personal motivation, understanding and managing chronic illness in the workplace, applying adaptive leadership strategies during times of change, and building a sound financial foundation. Through practical guidance and peer discussion, attendees will gain tools to support their professional development and well-being.
Target Audience
A professional development conference for faculty, trainees and house staff.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this conference, the learner should be better able to:
Develop a career plan that fosters alignment between professional activities and internal motivations.
Discuss the barriers faced by professionals living with chronic illness, particularly “invisible” conditions.
Employ the principles of adaptive leadership to thrive in the workplace during times of change.
