The Office of Women in Medicine and Science (OWIMS) was pleased to offer it's inaugural "Virtual" Professional Development Conference: Women's Leadership in 2020: Overcoming Obstacles, Preparing for Opportunities, and Being Yourself Along the Way
This annual conference was designed to offer attendees a program where they can acquire specific skills and strategies for their academic advancement. Promoting diversity, mentoring, collaboration, and addressing the goal of having a successful and satisfying work-life experience are also essential aspects of the conference.
