Part 1: Developing Common Language
In Part 1 we will begin to develop a shared language around racism and antiracism and consider how incorporating antiracist principles can make us better medical educators.
By the end of Part 1 you will be able to:
- Define critical terms including forms of racism (e.g., structural, institutional, interpersonal and internalized), antiracism and White privilege as demonstrated by successful completion of a multiple choice quiz
- Reflect on what it means to you to develop an antiracist identity as demonstrated by completion of a written reflection
In Part 2, you will:
- Reflect on what it means for you to develop an antiracist identity as demonstrated by completion of a reflection paper
