Target Audience
This grand rounds series is designed for Rhode Island physicians (primary care and specialists), psychologists, social workers, residents, fellows, and medical students.
Learning Objectives
After participating in a Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior Academic Grand Rounds, the learner should be better able to:
- Utilize the information presented by internal and external experts in the fields of psychiatry and psychology in their daily professional activities
- Address specialized topics selected from the general areas of basic neuroscience, biological psychiatry, psychodynamic psychiatry, and health care delivery
- Identify and explore current issues involved in the field of mental health
- Implement best practices for the treatment of patients with behavioral issues
